Last updated: October 2026. This policy explains what 24h.now ("we", "the site") collects and how it uses it. The site is operated at https://24h.now.
If you create an account, we store the email address and password you use to sign in, plus the cities you save as favourites. We keep a record of when news summaries were generated for the cities you view, so the same summary can be reused instead of being regenerated. This cache is shared across visitors and contains no personal data.
If you use a paid or favourite-cities feature, no other profile information is collected. We do not sell your data.
For visitors who are not signed in, this site shows Google ads through Google AdSense (publisher ID ca-pub-9376444662015038). Google and its partners use cookies, including the advertising cookie, to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google's Ads Settings, and manage or delete cookies in your browser at any time. Signed-in users see far fewer ads (one banner at the top and one at the bottom of the page); the advertising script is loaded for them only to show these.
If you are signed in, the site uses a strictly necessary login session cookie to keep you authenticated. Google may also set advertising cookies for signed-in users when the reduced ads load.
Weather, air-quality and city lookup data come from Open-Meteo; country facts from REST Countries; holidays from Nager.Date; and news headlines from Google News, summarised by an AI model. These requests are made by the site, not by your browser, except for the public weather and geocoding APIs which your browser calls directly without sending any identifying data beyond the requested city.
You can delete your favourite cities at any time from the site. To have your account and its data deleted entirely, contact us at supporto@ora.ch and we will remove it.
